Am I too old?

That's a tough one! lol I've always just said "friend", but the way I say it usually clues the other party in on what kind of friend lol.
[this is good]
I have always been good friends with my first love, Eric, and we called each other "best friend", that is, until i met my real best friend.... now he's just an ex....
I have never had a good word for it. I always stumbled over boyfriend, I always felt like it was a junior high word.

Yeah, I think friend is good and that's what I use most of the time. But I don't think I would like to be introduced as the "the friend". Hmmm... that might be a problem.

Him introducing me: this is my friend, "Ms. B"

ME: *looking at him like he is crazy*... LOL

In junior high and high school, we used to say "so & so is my man" -- lol, so we didn't even use that term waaay back then, how could I consider using it now? Ok - it'official "boyfriend" won't work.

first of all I love the twenty thirteen girl!!!!!!!

second of all I love the mosaic. I am going to work on one for my niece as soon as i get well.

as fo that boyfriend/girlfriend term. I agree completely. I wouldnt say this is my boyfriend. thats tacky. not sure. hmmm

- Girl, I'm all about the 20-13! lol

- Hurry up on that mosaic, I wanna see how yours turns out. Have you started trying to get any of the pics together yet?

- While I was at home, people kept introducing him as my boyfriend cuz they refuse to view him as an ex. LOL It sounded ok when they said it, but everytime I introduced him to people I just kept saying "this is D" -- He seemed cool with that.
